Luring in all the pretty little things,
As they burn their pretty wings to dust.
You make out like everything's about you,
Head clouded with lust.
I know you'll never say you're sorry,
Till a gun's put to your head,
I know you'll never tell our story,
You'll tell a lie instead.
CHORUS
Who do you think you are? (Who you are)
Who do you think you are? (Who you are)
Who do you think you are? (Who you are)
...(do you think you are?)
Your mouth moves but see I don't have a clue,
Of a word that just came out.
Treat your fate like you shake a magic 8,
Oh go on take a bow.
I know you'll never say you're sorry,
Till a gun's put to your head,
I know you'll never tell our story,
You'll tell a lie instead.
I'm always open-minded - and open-eared - for a good singer-songwriter album, especially if well-versed songwriting is paired with a strong and pleasant voice. Natalie Holmes matches this pattern just perfectly, and there's a lot more exquisite music to be discovered here, on her Bandcamp site. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
If not my money problem I would have bought the CD version. The moment i heared "Child" it was clear to me, that I need more. My fav is "Not enough", because it takes a different approach on beeing alone. pikolowet
